Only watched the first two episodes so far but the Chihiro sub track on both is late by ~21ms. Both dialogue and typesetting.
I downloaded the first ep of the original Chihiro release to confirm this was introduced in this Mux, the timing is fine there (at least for episode 1).

Why so? Why not? It's a sheet of anime releases with quality comparisons. You can either pick the one it recommends or pick another from the provided comparison.

It's a biased list based on the recommendation of opinionated raters.
I doubt they could pick out which is which if you blindly play the videos to them.
Staring at frame shots where one part of the scene may look slightly better than the other while ignoring that the other may look better in another part.
At 23.9 FPS while playing you won't see any difference except if it has too much sharpening ect and people have differing opinions about how much filtering etc that they personally prefer.
I don't let other people tell me what I should prefer.
