Wrong episode numbering in title

That's commie. They didn't count the recap episodes, even though recaps were counted officially.

Does it matter?

I don't think it does. I count the recaps more as specials, then actual episodes.

Is there anyone here who think that as a matter?

I don't think there is any. I count Anon's comment as a misunderstand about Commie's great perspective and zooby's comment as a respond to that.

Scanning the AT archives, the question is not Commie's "great perspective" in numbering episodes, but their decision to not provide these 3 re-cap episodes to us at all.  Against that, I would argue that recaps are seldom entirely redundant.  Instead, they generally provide some new information, even if just in dialogue form and often some new footage as well.  I speak as someone who loves the series but haven't caught up on this season yet, so I may be way off base somehow.

But, as a general rule, I want it all.  I want to be the one to decide to skip a re-cap.  I don't want the recap to skip me.

So, am I glad Commie skipped these recaps?  No.  Is it their decision to make? Yes.  Did I fill in the gaps with other sources? Yes.  The numbering thing?  Don't care so much, but makes a bit of a mess for the archive.

The "great perspective" part was supposed to be a sarcasm. ◕ ◡ ◕
10/11/2013 06:01 — Galaxy_Defenders
wasn't sure...sarcasm is difficult without the non-verbals.

There are some enthusiastic commie supporters around here, myself included really.  If it wasn't for commie I would have missed out on a lot of fun over the years.

Ah, I'm sorry then.

As for myself, I don't really following all of these fansub supporters stuff, because I just started into anime stuff in late 2012 (started following ongoing anime in spring this year) and don't know much about fansubbing world. Usually just open fansub review site like crymore, notredreviews, or 8thsin, and bandwagonning from there.

I wouldn't worry to much about this fansub stuff, just enjoy all the anime that's what it's really about. I thank all the fansub groups good or bad for doing what they do because I'm selfish and enjoy watching anime and they make it possible.

Ok, thanks for the tips, I hope I won't catch all of those hating fansub group things which is often happen at internet.

You should, it's like going to a circus.

To be a stick in the mud I would just like to point out that all these episodes have the producers numbering, yes even the recaps do. So what the great Commie is doing is changing those numbers to confuse everyone and make his numbering of episodes more simple for him since he is skipping the recaps. This is known as forcing ones personal reality on everyone else (but it's free so who cares).

If you are a smart person you can easily remedy this by renaming the files to the correct episode number and DL DeadFish's recap episodes, problem solved.

You're replying me, right, sir?

>If you are a smart person you can easily remedy this by renaming the files to the correct episode number and DL DeadFish's recap episodes, problem solved.

But I have no problem with Commie's style and I did exactly the same like what you did. I hope you just click the wrong reply button. :D

Nope, just replying in general. It's not the first time this has come up about this series and Commie. I was just trying to give the general public a simple solution to the problem. I was not replying to you personally. My apologies if it came across that way.

It's ok sir, no offence taken.

I've been watching fansubs since they were released on VHS (Talk about the OLD days). Now I've gotten used to softsubs, although I don't like the kara in openings & closings (even worse when that's hardsubbed).
