To the contrary: it is recommended to play the game BEFORE watching the movie (which is otherwise undecipherable, due to quickly cycling through all of the several dozens characters featured in the game).

Camrip quality is par for the golden era of Vocaloidism (circa 2007-2011), back when NND and YT videos used to be 288 pixels.
