What a waste. Ordered chapters, in this day and age.
25/03/2015 22:01 — Anonymous
speaking of waste, your constant bitching about OC is also a waste of bits and bytes
25/03/2015 22:04 — Anonymous_OC_lover
Classic John_Rhogan bitching about OCs like sand piling up in his vagina. That's one thing that will never change in this day and age.

Ah Mendokusai....
And it's sad when he can easily fix the ordered chapters but I guess it's to hard for him.
26/03/2015 00:39 — John_Rhogan
Then how do you fix ordered chapters, genius? Tell me if you know. Inquiring minds wanna know.
26/03/2015 19:49 *Envy
Ah Mendokusai....
For been rude I won't tell you :) figure it out on your own.

Facts:
1. In this example you have to dl the OP and EN once instead of 4 times.  For 720p, that's a savings of 536MB.  For 1080p, it's a savings of 949MB.

I'm not saying the saving are or are not worth it, but those are the numbers.

2. The biggest problem is VLC users, since VLC doesn't support ordered chapters and probably never will.  Coalgirls team usually puts a good effort into their stuff, so it's too bad to miss out.  I'd recommend people at least add CCCP, to use when necessary.

I'd be interested in whether any/many/most/none think a savings of .5 - 1.0 GB is worth it.

Commenting because I like my avatar picture, meow!
It saves bandwidth for distro, 536MB when downloaded by 1K people is 536GB. So the distro server save 536GB bandwidth.

VLC suppot this you lazy fag
it's just not enabled in default settings
preferences > input/codes > preload mkv files in the same directory
there OC supported now
26/03/2015 21:08 — Anonymous
Thanks, I already had that selected.  I think it is by default.  What I found, as I mentioned below, is that it works in smaller folders but not in larger folders.  Now that you mention it, I'm guessing the reason could be a limit on the number of mkv files that are scanned or "preloaded".

CCCP manages in the large folder, so it seems VLC should.

what do you mean by large?
mine works flawlessly here
25/03/2015 22:43 — Anonymous
VLC does not support OC ? I had no idea since i always watch OC releases wit VLC and have no problems whatsoever ;o
25/03/2015 23:01 — Anonymous_OC_lover
He's right. I've never been able to get my Pokemon and Digimon cartoons to play back properly. I keep opening a "Fix your god damn Chinese cartoons support" thread on their website but they keep deleting it. Obviously, they're not with the currents trends of this day and age.

No, VLC already supported OC, check your VLC version. Mine 2.2.0.
25/03/2015 23:15 — Anonymous
I just tried and it didn't.  Then I moved all the files to a separate folder and now it does.

Don't know why.  Thanks for the correction.
25/03/2015 23:19 — Anonymous_OC_lover
You sure about that? Sauces?

Is it maybe something wrong with my Pokemon and Digimon cartoons instead? I don't watch anything else other than that so it's hard to tell.
25/03/2015 23:24 — Anonymous
What kind of sauces? Barbecue, horseradish, tartar or chili?
25/03/2015 23:41 — Anonymous
VLC and OC: For those interested in program trivia, this limitation replicates for me -in a large folder (2,500 files) VLC doesn't find and include the OP playback for Tsukimonogatari, but it does find and play it back in a smaller folder.
25/03/2015 23:43 — Anonymous
But CCCP finds and plays it in the large folder.
25/03/2015 23:51 — Anonymous
[Coalgirls] should never use OC again ! Better concentrate instead on the video quality and less bloated files !
26/03/2015 00:14 — Anonymous_OC_lover
John_Rogan, stop posting under duplicate Anonymous accounts. We all know that it's you even though you don't mention Gundam in your post.
26/03/2015 00:40 — John_Rhogan
THAT John Rogan does not spell his name with an "h" in the last name. Whoever that loser is, is not me.
28/03/2015 00:35 — Anonymous
And they should stop using retarded FLAC for 720p
27/03/2015 05:17 *Jormungand

27/03/2015 05:49 — Anonymous
If you want to do meaningful thanks, go to the Coalgirls website.

If you're mean when you are drunk, try weed.
