Anyone kind enough to tell me how can I download a file from file1.info?
05/03/2014 05:06 *Galaxy_Defenders
For me, I get a big blue "download" button on the screen that clicks to a download in Firefox and Opera.  And it does not appear to support download managers, at least FDM.

The browser downloads by themselves are painfully slow with this host for me (44k/sec).  So the question becomes not how but why.

--------------------------------------------------
Just to mention it for any interested:

In the absence of DevHost, for best speed I recommend:

1. Anime-Tibb Direct:

http://www.yukinoshita.eu/yukinon/ddl/...F9390].mkv

Or

2. Mega.co.nz or Filecloud IO via Tibb multiup.org

That is what works best where I am.

What about where you are, goldfish?

Well, I don't even using it as another site still up, just asking without a reason, maybe just because... Thanks though, Galaxy San ^_^

For me, I mainly use Tibb's server since he build it.
Also, Sendfiles, Tusfiles, Uppit, multiup direct link, Tibb's Davvas and Mega are working fast too. (In my place) ^_^

I hope DevHost can come back to the work soon. It seems that there is no limitation speed in there. My friend can get 16 MB/s from DevHost. @.@

You appear to be closer to the center of the Universe based on your speedy download options.

In some places Google itself is laying down fiber to homes for 1GB/sec speeds, rumor has it.

Over 50 MBPS real time
Like this http://www.speedtest.net/result/1446515166.png

"Over 50 MBPS"  500MB/sec, I believe.  zooby's just trying to make the rest of us feel better.

Soon Coalgirl can shake off all restraint!

Nah... MB =/= Mb.
528Mbps would be around 60MBps. What kind of sorcery is that?!

Wiki doesn't exactly support speedtest's abbreviation, but you're right of course.  Just what this field needs: an abbreviation of an abbreviation.

I don't get the center of the universe part @.@

Yeah, some people show off their (not sure whether theirs or not) Google fiber speed on facebook and twitter a while ago, while I'm just sitting here with my 7.2Mbps dns blocked dialup connection. Well, I'm still a lucky one, can enjoying the internet and stuff where there are a lot of peoples can't even afford food for breakfast.

===========================================
What I'm trying to say is, not all filehosting site allowing the free user to get such speed. ^_^

----------------------------------------------
I'm sorry, I don't know what's the problem with my head when typing dialup -___-

my 7.2Mbps dialup connection
Ah, I remember when people used to multiplex multiple dialup lines to get faster speeds before DSL.
Though I've never seen someone try it with 130 lines though. You might be a new record holder, goldfish!

goldfish relies on ADSL (Aqua), involving vibrations and shellfish.  It takes a lot of clams to even get that speed, I'm guessing.

Did you occupy some datacenter?

Your breakfast comment has me a little worried.

If I have to explain, then I'm not worried.  If I don't have to explain, then I am worried.  So I'm not worried.
