I have downloaded torrent files for 25-30 years and never used a VPN. this file and also episode 2 by this same uploader are the only files I have ever been called out on for copyright infringment etc. only reason anyone has to use a VPN would be if they plan to download copyrighted material illegally right? these files are recorded public TV broadcasts and should not be getting flagged for copyright infringment. anyways I was just trying to be informative to others.

Just because it hasn't happened previously doesn't mean anything obviously. Any torrent can be loaded by copyright people. All it takes is them downloading the torrent same as you, and jotting down every peer IP they connect to. This has been a reoccurring thing for the last 10 years. It's nothing new.

If you want to torrent without risk of your ISP being contacted, use a seedbox.

And if you really think recording TV broadcasts and sharing isn't copyright infringement.... You might want to read up about all the people spending life behind bars in Japan for doing that.
