Despite this being Blu-ray, it's a crappy encode by Irizaraws. Lostyears, despite being webrip is higher quality and already fetched:

Already have Lostyears web encode from five months ago. Was wanting to upgrade to a Blu-ray encode. So what exactly makes Irizaraws a bad BD encode? I've watched other series with Irizaraws video and found no fault with them. Also I fail to see how a re-encoded web stream (presumably using TV broadcast materials) is somehow of higher quality than a Blu-ray encode (that's not a mini-encode like what neoHEVC does).

A good webrip will almost always beat a bad bdrip. Iriza is a terrible encoder with bad settings, lack of filtering, no debanding, and no rescaling. There's even some instances where web sources themselves beat the blu-ray itself in terms of quality as a source. So blu-ray isn't always an upgrade. Don't let the source fool you into thinking it's a symbol of quality.
