Why would this need to be 10bit when the file size is this big, it has a 1 in a milllion chance the picture wont be perfect. The 10bit codec original function is to improve a degraded video picture due to the file size being less than 100mb in size. It was never meant to be used on healthy video pictures. It was placed into Anime for specific reasons. To slow down sharing in general and limit it to the internet. All but a few of the distributors went bankrupt around the same time.

They blamed Anime sharing as the reason. Anyone that knew about it is arrogant to think nothing would happen. Those that don't know, at the end of 2010 is when 10bit first appeared. Go look at torrent sites and forums that share the other media types. You wont find 1% of the files are 10bit.  If you took 2 disc to school, 10bit Anime the other 8bit Anime. how many firends could access whats on the 10bit disc compared to whats on the 8bit just by putting the disc in a player. Zero.
