No subs and an English dub out of nowhere. Even though the audio track is marked as japanese. Wtf?

While it's a disappointing outcome it's not exactly that odd.

ASW use SubsPlease for their encodes and they are pulled automagically, encoded, metadata added and uploaded automagically.

If SubsPlease screw something up (like, their automatic scripts that pull episodes from CR/HiDive/etc grab the wrong thing), or the original streaming service borks something (not the first time CR might have made a mistake), all these problems filter down the chain without any single human knowing about it until people complain.

For this episode, until CR/SubsPlease fix whatever went wrong, you can try the DKB release which is fine:

A few days ago Crunchyroll released "English dub" that was actually Japanese audio for several episodes, which is why several automatic ripped releases by Yameii had to be v2'd when Crunchyroll fixed it.

Now Crunchyroll released "Japanese dub" that was actually English audio and SubsPlease automatic bot grabbed it.

Hell a few weeks back Crunchyroll put episode 1 audio on an episode 2 of some show I forget which. And often Crunchyroll completely forgets to add the subtitles to the dub video... hence Yameii's constant line in their description about Crunchyroll being idiots.
