Seems to play in 4:3 not 16:9, while episode 1-4 from you play in 16:9, I used MPC-HC

show has borders making it seem like 4:3

Check the opening animation, that should be full 16:9.
Other releases are similar, may be productional/artistic choice.
Btw, I did not even notice this while watching, while I usually notice cuts in height.
