What you are describing generally means a player lacks the correct decode software:

1. AnimePlaza typically makes at least two versions. Try the other.

2. Look into updating your player.

3. Most users use independent video players, not trusting Microsoft. One popular player is called "Potplayer". http://potplayer.daum.net/
