Authorized TT upload, and probably first of it's kind: a HEVC hardsub.

Because it's insanely stupid. No one who wants hardsubs can use HEVC. No one who can use HEVC wants hardsubs.

I think it is because only hardsubbed versions for akira is available. i don't see any problems with hardsubs.

hardsubs:
Can't resize them if they are too big or small to see on your preferred playback device. Can't turn them off to watch the dub (included in the above reference, not here). Can't choose between alternate subtitle tracks options, like signs and songs, or alternate translations such as with or without honorifics. Hardsubs permanently alter and inherently degrade the video data. Softsubs are temporarily layered on the video image during playback, never altering the original video data.

It's not worth anyone's time to try and educate someone who casually makes obviously false statements ("I think it is because only hardsubbed versions for akira is available.").

Such a person is beyond hope and should just be ignored.

lol gee, another one who just fell off the banana boat straight into the internet lol. a quick search just here @AT would give you plenty of softsubbed options for this. let me enlighten you: below the AT logo, its called a search box, you type there and press enter :P
