Hardsubbed movie. Hulu-rip some say. No English subbed-BD in sight, so other options may not appear for a while.

Yes it's ripped from Hulu and there's BD's encodes of this available (raw) but I don't know about the BDMV to this tho.

Some idiot on Nyaa. The hardsub and Hulu were the important info and that an alternate version might not be immediately available. I figured one of you knowledgeable guys would fill in the blanks. Thanks for the correction. 1-2 weeks, eh? Nice.

That was just an guess,I would estimate that it has about 1200-1500 lines of dialogue [since it is 1H:49M's]to translate and will not be getting a speed release.These kind of movies usually appear when they have free time to work on them and are not busy with work/uni/college/etc,so maybe this weekend or some time near that [??].

Ouch!  That's a lot of dialogue.  But is it worth an entirely new translation when a Hulu-Mod is possible?  Or even just using that hardsub extraction program and attach the edited results to BD?

I sure appreciate people willing to do any of this stuff.  It would drive me nuts.  I do love having new translations to compare, but so much work even for a modified version.

I guess that's the debate that divides fansubs these days: Those that mostly do original translations, like gg-subs, and those who do mostly CR-Mods, like Commie-Subs.  I'm glad for all of them, including Horrible.

The problem is extracting the Hard-subs.Programs like subrip and the like are not very accurate and time consuming when ripping Hard-subs.That's why you don't see movies like Detective Conan[which all have bd raws,and Hard-subbed rips from various groups]getting soft-sub releases.

That's what I always thought. But people claim better for subextractor1031 --I think it was called. Apparently it was used a lot to extract the new Yamato PGS subs.

If you are really dedicated, you can always just transcribe it. It's time cosuming to the point you don't want to work on it if you can't find any foreign subs that is timed from it which you have to time it yourself, but it gets the job done.

Give it a try if you can and post the subs ,gg are not doing it because herkz
said they won't do it because of the simulcast web-rip.Guess it's due to hard-subs and their lack of Japanese in general,because the majority of shows gg and others work on [commie,etc] just edit CR scripts [done by professional translators].
