Ao no Hako - Episode 13 (of 25): I Want a Back-and-Forth Rally

Comment

Subtitles translated using AI by one X/Twitter user as an experiment to confirm that AI is a real option for translation and can maintain context well. They need a little polish here and there, but still the viewing experience is much better than Netflix ones. These are not my subtitles, I just muxed with raw episode.

Awful subs!

28/12/2024 08:13 — Anonymous

You didn’t even watch with these subs.
If you think they are awful, just give some examples where they are awful. They are a lot better than official Netflix subtitles that have many mistranslations and pointless localization.
Go ahead, throw some examples of what exactly is awful in these subs. They were reliably good from the beginning.

No, I don't think I will.

Translation: "I am a kid caught lying again because I think the cool kids all hate ai even though I use ai all the time without realizing it because I am a shallow weeb"

I have some free time if you need someone pro to look at your subs before release, after all I've worked (solo) on Summer Time Rendering at a time where AI wasn't even a thing, I know everything about Fansubbing :>

do you speak japanese?

LX is a fucking liar. You do NOT want him anywhere near your subs.

30/12/2024 16:29 — Anonymous

The way he phrased it makes it clear that LX wasn't serious and was making fun of the previous discussion y'all had, don't be so gullible.

Our squiggly text game where the aim is to copy the image into the textbox. All characters are upper case, and there are no zeros (0) and ones (1) in the above image. Apparently bots aren't as good as humans at this game.
