After ten years Okano Makoto and his little sister, Hinata return to the place they grew up — a strangely idyllic island settlement called Kazune Town. Here they hope to find their mother, who mysteriously disappeared, warning Makoto not to look for her. On arriving at the train station they are heartily welcomed by childhood friends.
