Toei Animation has revealed plans to revive the Mushrambo sci-fi action anime television series originally broadcast in 2000. The series was broadcast on American television in 2001 under the title "Shinzo". The original TV series will be "renewed" under the direction of Kenji Nakamura (director of the Mononoke TV series) and released as two 90 minute feature films later this year.
