One day Mouri Kogorou's private detective agency receives a blackmail call by accident. It turns out that the caller has dialled the wrong number. Conan is able to identify the voice on the phone, which is similar to that of his old friend Hattori Heiji, a high school detective from Osaka. They join forces once again to solve the case and find the stolen item the case resolves around.
