On a school excursion both Nanyou Academy (Sonsaku Hakufu, Ryomou Shimei,...) and Seito High School (Kan'u Unchou, Ryuubi Gentoku, Chouun Shiryuu,...) happen to end up in Kyoto — on a mission to increase their spiritual powers and brute strength as it turns out by collecting tsuba. Of course the competitive edge of both allied schools and even more so their combined powers are a force to be reckoned with: neither a bus race, nor the Kyoto Toushi (fighters), nor bodiless Reikon, nor modesty can stop them from bashing up beautiful Kyoto...
