Miu suddenly proclaims she wants to be an idol, and to prove her talent does a back-flip, "dies" in the process and ends up in the otherworld, now sporting a halo.

On the day of the school excursion, visiting the local castle park, Mui forgets her paint colours, forcing Nobue to bring them along from home by scooter. Much painting mischief ensues.

The girls then reflect on what it means to be 'friends' or 'buddies'.

Finally Mui envisions how her own life and that of her friends will change when they enter junior high school.
