When third year middle school boy Hanaukyou Tarou's mother died, he moved to live with his grandfather in Tokyo. When he gets there, he is stunned by the gigantic mansion with its countless maids. He is the grandchild of the incredibly rich Hanaukyou family's head, Hanaukyou Hokusai. But since Hokusai has no heir, Tarou becomes head of the Hanaukyou family, which controls half of Japan!
