Additional Info | The Fantom Convoy here. This is my Google Plus profile if you have any questions: https://plus.google.com/+TheFantomConvoy1 Allow me to talk about how this subbing and modification process was done. ______________________________ The subtitles were gathered from the Gray Phantom fansubs of the show, but were modified extensively in certain areas where they sounded out of place. As I understand the Japanese alphabet, and heard many of the words there that did not fit with the subs, I consulted the anime_in_action fansub of the series (the most popular one). It was with that and a few other things that I made my modifications. Neither fansub was perfect but they both had places where they were right and wrong. A few places neither got it right though were the translations for what was said in Chinese. The system change for FuRyu and RaiRyu is actually said as "Zuzhi Jiaohuan", rather than "Zhou-Ji Jao Feng" from Gray Phantom or "Fu Ti Chuan Qua" from anime_in_action. I know because I checked the official site, www.gaogaigar.net, and then typed the katakana version onto Google, and thus found the search. On the subtitles in general, I took care to time them right as the original timing did not fit with the blu-ray episodes in any of the cases. I also added a few new overhead subtitles here and there. ______________________________ The program used for the editing of the subtitles is Aegisub. Adding them and their fonts to the MKV files was done via MKVToolNix. HD files used were gotten from the Akatomba-Raws release which can be found here: https://nyaa.si/view/926388 The modified subs can also be applied to the 1080p version once extracted from the MKV file. If you find any errors in the subtitles, you can contact me via the first link I posted. Either that, or you can edit it using Aegisub. |
