Before 4kids and Funimation, there was Odex...

Ladies and gentleman, I present you the very first official English dub of One Piece,
brought to you by the Singaporean anime distributor Odex, and dubbed locally by Voiceovers Unlimited.
The dub lasted a total of 104 episodes (with no skipped episodes unlike SOME dubbing companies),
and was said to be dubbed from 2003 to 2004.

Compared to the likes of 4Kids, this rarely seen dubbed version had minimal visual editing involved,
and some cussing was allowed within limits (meaning no really strong ones like the F bomb).

This version also left the original openings and endings intact, with no dubbing done except for the narrations.
Oh, and thanks to the DVD releases, these episodes also contain the original Japanese audio as a second language option.
Though let's be honest, who here is actually going to use that when there's even better quality audio AND subtitles
out there for FREE? :P

Speaking of subtitles, yeah I know there's burned subtitles into the episodes.
No, there's nothing I can do about that. Blame the people that made the DVDs that thought it be a good idea to burn
bloody hardcoded subs directly into the videos. Haven't they ever thought of making a toggle option? ...Prolly not.

Plus the crappy video quality of the releases doesn't do the subs any favors. You prolly won't be able to read them half
the time anyway cuz of it. Not like they're accurate half the time (it sometimes even skips over entire lines
of dialogue, it's a mess). God forbid you watch with the Japanese audio... I'm sure you'll have no trouble at all
keeping up with such top tier QUALITY subs, amirite guys??? /s

And don't get me started on the abysmal audio balancing, either
(though the audio being in shitty mono as opposed to stereo doesn't do it any favors).
Should I dare go into detail on the MAGNIFICENT (big /s) voice acting here?

...Nah, I'll let you guys listen for urselves. Not just cuz I'm evil, I swear!
I'll say this though, this is the only English dub where Luffy is voiced by an actual dude instead of a girl.

Every episode in the torrent was ripped and provided by the lovely people at The Apollo Dub Archive (TA-DA).
All I did was take the episodes provided from the MEGA links, and compile them into a comprehensive set that's easy
to download (without going through a dozen or so indivual links of 2-4 episodes each).
The episodes themselves were ripped from the now out-of-print box sets Odex released many years ago.
