| Additional Info | From early to mid 2000s Neon Genesis Evangelion was aired on Cartoon Network and Toonami. When it was aired Cartoon Network heavily censored the show since it's a children's network. Only the first two episodes were aired on Toonami as apart of Giant Robot Week in February of 2003. I don't know about full episodes, but there are edit lists for both episodes still online. When the show aired in its entirety on Adult Swim in 2005, only minor edits were made, such as bleeping of the word 'shit' (and Asuka's "Schisse!") and cutting the brief shot of Shinji's hand on Rei's breast. monday february 24th 2003 approximately 4:30pm toonami giant robot week |
